Charge moonstone under moonlight on the full or new moon for optimum results. Submerge in a salt-water solution of 3 tablespoons of salt per cup of water for at least one night, or wash the stone with clean water. An alternative to salt-water cleansing is to use sage, palo santo, or another smudge stick to purify the moonstone.
